At Beyond the Gulf Coast, we're a team of local tourism professionals who share a passion for showcasing the natural beauty, coastal culture, and unique experiences that make the Mississippi Gulf Coast such a special destination. Having spent years working in hospitality, tourism, and outdoor recreation, we know that some of the region's most memorable adventures happen away from the crowds and beyond the typical tourist attractions.
Our mission is simple: connect visitors from nearby destinations such as New Orleans and beyond with the incredible islands, waterways, wildlife, and waterfront communities that make Coastal Mississippi one of the Gulf South's hidden gems. Through carefully curated tours and authentic local experiences, we're committed to helping guests discover a side of the Gulf Coast that many travelers never get the chance to see.

Born and raised in Jean Lafitte, Louisiana,
I come from generations of commercial
fishermen, island hunters, and hardworking
oilfield families whose lives have always been
tied to the water. Long before I began guiding
visitors, I spent my childhood navigating the
marshes, bays, barrier islands, and backwaters
of coastal Louisiana, learning firsthand the
rhythms of the Gulf, the changing tides, and the
traditions that have sustained families here for
generations. Growing up in this environment
gave me a deep respect for the natural world
and a lifelong appreciation for the unique culture
that exists along the Gulf Coast.
Over the past decade, I've dedicated my career to the tourism industry, helping visitors discover the authentic side of Louisiana and Coastal Mississippi that many travelers never get the opportunity to experience. My passion has always been introducing guests to the places that locals know and love, whether that's a quiet barrier island, a hidden waterway, a family-owned seafood operation, or a small coastal community rich with history and tradition. I believe the best experiences aren't found in crowded tourist destinations, but in the people, places, and stories that define life on the Gulf Coast.
As the founder of Beyond the Gulf Coast, my goal is to share that authentic experience with every guest who steps aboard. Every tour is built around more than just beautiful scenery; it's an opportunity to learn about the region's maritime heritage, wildlife, commercial fishing traditions, coastal ecosystems, and resilient communities. Whether we're searching for dolphins, island hopping across the Mississippi barrier islands, enjoying a waterfront pub crawl, or gathering around a beach bonfire under the stars, I want every guest to leave with more than great photographs. I want them to leave with a genuine connection to the Gulf Coast, a deeper appreciation for its people and traditions, and memories they'll carry long after they've returned home.
